Is there a better way to spend a Friday evening than with a bath bomb, a face mask and a good film.
Well actually yes, there probably is but when you’ve had a long hard week at work and your summer antics have finally caught up with you and your bank balance, it’s good enough.
I am a huge fan of Lush cosmetics anyway so I thought I would give one of their fresh face masks a go.
I went for the Oat Fix mask because it is good for hydrating, exfoliating and moisturising. I have fairly dry skin and this is the one the shop assistant recommended for me.
What I loved about it?
- It smells amazing – so good in fact there was a moment where I was tempted to eat it.
- A small pot goes a long way, as they are fresh they only last a month but there was enough in the pot to do two masks a week.
- My skin definitely feels great. So soft and it looks rejuvenated. I actually look less tired which is a miracle.
- At £7.50 it is reasonably priced
Lush is also cruelty free which is another added bonus. Plus they also have a recycle scheme where you can swap 5 empty clean pots in exchange for a new fresh mask!
How to use?
It’s nice and easy to use. Not sticky and there is no peeling or anything. Just pop on your face for 10-15 minutes and wash off.
What didn’t I like about it?
Well nothing really, except that every time I put it on my boyfriend says it looks like I’ve baby wiped sick on my face.
What are your favourite face masks?
