Winter Sun – Tenerife

So in case you have noticed (I don’t have many followers so you probably haven’t) I haven’t been blogging in almost forever, unfortunately this is a hobby for me, so it comes second to work and home life.

So if you want a quick life update: My boyfriend and I sold our flat and moved into our new home. It’s a complete renovation project (be prepared for lots of house posts) and we’re super excited.

Over Christmas I spent a week in sunny Tenerife with my family.

I haven’t been away with my parents since I was 16 and that’s almost 10 years! There was 18 of us and my family are like me – mad as a box of frogs.

Where did I stay?

We stayed inย Puertoย de Santiago which was such a lovely part of the island. Touristy enough, but with lovely little local and fresh restaurants and super close to the beach.

What did we do?

Siam Park: Probably the best waterpark you will ever go too. If you’ve seen my Florida post; you will know I went to the Disney Waterparks, Wet n’ wild and Aquatica last year and I loved them! But I have to say, I genuinely thought this was one of the best water parks I’ve ever been to.

It’s like Thai theme throughout, and there is such a wide range of water rides to suit the little kids and the big kids (my boyfriend and I).

Hiking: There are so many amazing viewpoints from volcanos and mountains so we hired a car and spend a few mornings going up the scariest windy roads to find the best views, before exploring the different footpaths.

On another note:

I’m also planning a trip to Costa Rica, which is less than 2 weeks away. Countdown to sunshine, sloths and sangria!

Thinking of doing some pre-posts, for example packing, planning our route and beauty prep? Thoughts?

Missed blogging, happy to be back!

Love Leigh x
